County Road Upperville Virginia by Robert Szabo

A lot of you know I moved to KC about 2 years ago from Virginia. As much as I like living here, and even with all the great friends I have here, Ive decided I need to move back to Virginia. I will be attending many more events next year and all of them are on the east coast. The drive time to go east has prohibited me from attending all the events I would have liked to for the last 2 years. Next year I will be at all the large civil war reenactments, some pyrate festivals and other outdoor festivals that you can find out about by keeping an eye my calendar here on MySpace. If you are in the KC area and Ive spoken to you about doing a photo shoot please contact me asap. I will be shooting at the Arts Incubactor in KC till the end of January. There is still time, but I think may get booked up soon. So if you are a model that wants to shoot here in KC please don’t wait to set something up.

Ill be re-locating to Martinsville Virginia. Its about an hour north of Greensboro NC and an hour south of Roanoke VA. Its a central location that will allow me to hit any easy coast event in a days drive from New York to Florida. Ill also be very close to old friends in Northern and Central Virginia.

Florida Pyrate Festival Nov 21-23, 2008

December 2, 2008

mitchI attended the annual Pirate Festival in St Petersburg Florida last weekend. The weather was beautiful and so was Vinoy Park where the event was was held. All in all Id say the festival was a success.

It was not a financial success for me in that very few people were buying. But, everyone who had there image done really loved them. Nicole was on board as my assistant and creative partner helping to dress and pose people. I shared my tent with Against The Grain, a sword shop from New Hope PA. The partnership went well and Im hoping we can do it again sometime.

I met many great people including the great Tiger Lee, Pirate Photographer and master Photoshop Guru.

Ive got many more pictures from the event on MySpace so check them out.

Thanks to Kris Hillers for putting on a killer event.
